There is a systemic failure to get folks to understand that the Second Amendment is enshrining the right to defense… defense of self, community, and nation …by ensuring that the people have adequate access to the proper tools for that defense.

You’d never see someone putting an op-ed in a national outlet asking if we love the right to a trial by jury or the right to be protected against cruel and unusual punishment more than we love our kids.
